Since 2022, Generation Success and AlixPartners have partnered to address the urgent need to foster social mobility, support underrepresented talent, and mentor the leaders of tomorrow. Our joint efforts aim to create a more inclusive and equitable society by providing comprehensive support through recruitment, mentoring programs, and community engagement. Driving Equity and Impact

Since 2021, AlixPartners has partnered with Generation Success to advance social mobility, diversity, and inclusion. This partnership was formalised in the wake of George Floyd's tragic death, during a period of deep reflection and commitment to driving a more equitable world. As one of AlixPartners' six global race partners, Generation Success has played a pivotal role in helping AlixPartners achieve deeper, more equitable impacts throughout their organisation and in the communities they serve

AlixPartners leverages its Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to foster an inclusive culture. With 65% staff participation, these groups play a crucial role in driving awareness and engagement around equity issues. Enhanced Recruitment Processes and Building Employer Brand:

Generation Success serves as the recruitment partner for AlixPartners, delivering a comprehensive 18-month programme of activities that engage all stakeholders within AlixPartners. This structured approach includes:

Broader Talent Pool

AlixPartners' 2024 intern programme received 1,803 applications, including 45.27% females and 12.33% from Black heritage backgrounds, broadening their talent pool and promoting equity.

Embedded Social Mobility

From delivering social mobility presentations to embedding positive action initiatives at all stages of the applicant journey, our partnership has enhanced the candidate experience and provided upskilling opportunities.

Efficient Recruitment and Branding Building

Our recruitment process, planned 18 months in advance, includes targeted events like inclusion webinars and Women in Consulting events. Through direct engagement with student societies, groups, and hosting both physical and virtual programmes, this consistent engagement has built trust and brand equity among underrepresented groups, enhancing AlixPartners' employer brand.

Diverse and Inclusive Workforce

    Cross-Departmental Relationships: Our partnership involves collaboration with AlixPartners' learning and development team, recruitment, employee resource groups, and DEI team on various projects. We provide monthly updates to a central account manager, ensuring alignment of activities to maximise ROI and ROE for AlixPartners and the communities they serve.

    Skills-Based Volunteering and Community Engagement: The partnership offers staff opportunities to use their skills to upskill the next generation of leaders. From 2022 to 2024, we hosted 10 sessions with AlixPartners, with 682 attendees, ranging from panel sessions to speed mentoring and insight days.

    Engagement from Senior Leaders to Grassroots: Our partnership has engaged all levels within AlixPartners, from senior leaders to recent graduates, in our journey towards greater equity.

Foundation of the Partnership:

The partnership began when 20 AlixPartners colleagues supported our Black History Month event at Dentons in October 2019, where Elton Ndoma-Ogar, Head of Diversity & Inclusion at AlixPartners, spoke on the panel. This collaboration continued with AlixPartners staff speaking at our Activate Change and Making It conferences during COVID-19 in 2020, inspiring and engaging young people concerned about their job prospects. These events featured other employers and the then Small Business Secretary, Nadhim Zahawi. The relationship was formalised in 2021/2022, solidifying our joint commitment to equity and inclusion.
